What Health, Wellness, and Nutrition Coaching Is
It begins with a consultation to assess and build your current health profile, and identify your wellness goals. This may be weight loss, learning to live with (and recover from) a chronic condition, dealing with food allergies, getting fit, or many other things!
We will take a look at your lifestyle, diet, family history and medical history and custom make a wellness plan to best suit your needs, goals, and situation. We will meet on a regular basis to help you stay on track and make any adjustments necessary to optimize your progress.
As always, all aspects of our work together will be 100% confidential, professional, kind, and non-judgmental.
What Health, Wellness, and Nutrition Coaching Isn't
Health coaching isn't a quick-fix. It's a healthy option for weight loss or other major lifestyle and wellness changes that will help you achieve your goals. During coaching, I will also help educate you about how to maintain your wellness long-term after you've reached your goals. But even with regular guidance from an educated consultant, your results depend on you.
Health coaching isn't a replacement for seeing your regular healthcare provider, or a diagnosis or treatment for any medical condition, because I am not a Medical Doctor. I am highly trained and certified in my fields of healthcare expertise, but I am not a MD. I cannot be clear enough about that.
